Royal Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce the grand opening of an ALDI Supermarket at Rockland Center, 43 East Route 59 in Nanuet, NY. ALDI transformed a portion of the former Pathmark space into a brand new, state of the art, 22,000 square foot Supermarket.
“ALDI was drawn to this location because of its enormous visibility, traffic counts of over 32,000 cars per day and the strong retail co-tenancy at this shopping center,” states David Landes, Principal of Royal Properties, Inc., who along Jeanine Kemm represented the landlord. American Continental Properties (ACP) and Tim McNamara of Sullivan Hayes Companies represented ALDI.
Rockland Center is a 265,000 square foot shopping center, which underwent a transformation in 2017. ALDI joined newly opened TJ Maxx, Sierra and Kirkland’s Home Décor, along with other co-tenants such as HomeGoods, PetSmart, AC Moore, Party City, Big Lots, AutoZone, Lumber Liquidators, McDonald’s, Chili’s, Five Guys and a varied combination of local and regional retailers. There is an end cap development opportunity available of up to 10,000 square feet next to ALDI, as well as a 3,300 square foot end cap (Divisible) coming available the first quarter 2020.
