In Westchester County, Verizon signed a lease for 2,000 square feet at Cortlandt Crossing Shopping Center at 3144 E. Main Street in Mohegan Lake, NY. This development will be anchored by a brand-new ShopRite which will be relocating on Route 6. Verizon secured a shared pad site at the entrance to the shopping center which offers tremendous visibility and parking. Cortlandt Crossing is located on Route 6 directly across from the Cortlandt Town Center which has numerous national and local retailers including Wal Mart, Acme, Old Navy, Home Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond and others. On Long Island, Jeanine Kemm brokered four lease transactions. Verizon signed a lease for 1,500 square feet at 15 Front Street in Hempstead, NY. This centrally located site is at the intersection of Fulton Avenue, Hempstead Avenue and Front Street. The center offers access from several heavily traveled roads in this densely populated area. Verizon will join Dunkin’ Donuts, Long Island Gourmet Deli and other local retailers. Within walking distance to The Hub Shopping Center, this site is surrounded by neighboring retailers such as Stop & Shop, Burger King, Home Depot, T-Mobile and many more. Cellular City of Seaford, Inc. d/b/a Verizon also signed a long term lease for 1,800 square feet at 3860-3870 Sunrise Highway in Seaford, NY. This site is conveniently located near the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway (NY-135) and directly across the street from Seaford LIRR Station. Verizon will join Starbucks at this new development. Neighboring retailers include Taco Bell, Butera’s, Burger King, Walgreens and many more. Jeanine Kemm represented Verizon and Sabre Real Estate represented the landlord in this transaction. Verizon signed a lease for 1,800 square feet at 624 North Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst, NY. Verizon was drawn to this corner pad site location due to its fantastic visibility and neighboring retailers which include Applebee’s, T-Mobile, King Kullen, Smashburger and many more providing over 40,000 cars per day along Wellwood Avenue. RPA Trading, Inc. d/b/a Verizon also signed a lease for 1,500 square feet at Suffolk Plaza at 472 Suffolk Avenue in Brentwood, NY. This 35,000 square foot center provides co-tenants such as Blink Fitness, Dollar Tree, AutoZone, T-Mobile and many more.
