Royal Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have brokered three more deals in Bronx, New York.
Seven Star Home Furniture signed a long term lease for 12,000 square feet at 5550 Broadway, Bronx, NY and Golden Home Furniture also signed a long term lease for 2,650 square feet at 186-190 W. 231st Street, Bronx, NY. A family run organization which consists of brothers, cousins and sisters are opening both stores. They have been in business since 1991 and have seven stores, all of which are in the Bronx.
“The company is very excited about the explosive growth in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx that they have decided to open 2 stores in this market. The stores are around the corner from each other. I have done several deals with this group and expect that they will do very well in both locations,” states Rick Stassa of Royal Properties, Inc., who was the sole broker on both transactions. One furniture store is opening in a former Payless space adjacent to Rainbow Apparel on 231st Street and the other store is opening at a corner location in a brand-new construction adjacent to Carter’s clothing on Broadway. This trade area includes Broadway Plaza on the corner of 231st and Broadway which has Bob’s Discount Furniture, TJ Maxx and Forever 21. Further north is Riverdale Crossing which includes BJ’s Wholesale, Chipotle and City M.D.
Canaan Pharmacy, Inc. d/b/a V Care Pharmacy signed a long term lease for 1,190 square feet at 1967 Westchester Avenue, Bronx, NY. V Care Pharmacy is expanding their business by leasing the adjacent space to their existing store at 1959 Westchester Avenue. V Care Pharmacy is a community retail pharmacy with 70 locations and 1,000 employees throughout the US. The company prepares and dispenses medicinal products. This site is within walking distance to the Parkchester Subway Station and has multiple bus stops in the surrounding area. Neighboring retailers including Macy’s, Foodtown, C-Town, TD Bank, Marshalls, Popeye’s, Walgreens, Starbucks, Mattress Firm, Dollar Tree and many more.
